Jaycie had her 2 month well visit today. She is 7lbs 8oz. She gained 8oz in the last week! GO GIRL! She is 19 1/2 inches long.
Jaycie has to go to an eye doctor. They want to make sure she doesnt have retinopathy of prematurity. Im hoping this appointment goes well and nothing comes from it but good!
Jaycie has to get her blood levels for her anemia checked again next Monday... Im hoping those goes up HIGh enough to... NOT have to worry about them. When she got blood work done in the NICU... she was with INFANT experts. When she goes to the lab... we sit in a overcrowded waiting room and then go back to the phlebotomist who "DIG" at her vein to get it to bleed. Im NOT looking forward to watching it again!
Im a bit overwhelmed by all the doctors and appointments I have to keep track of for Jaycie. I cant wait until we can just CHECK off these doctors and stick with her PCP. (I gotta remember my dance of patience... the music didnt end with the NICU)
Jaycie is such a good baby. She sleeps well at night (wakes up to eat and goes back ni night). She has no colic-y-ness at all. She is just an all around GREAT BABY!

I am so glad to hear she is doing so well, she looks like an angel!
Hope everything goes good with the lab, that has to be almost harder on you than it is on her =(
